Creativity Matters
“The precise role of the artist, then, is to illuminate that darkness, blaze roads through that vast forest, so that we will not, in all our doing, lose sight of its purpose, which is, after all, to make the world a more human dwelling place.” — James Baldwin
Creativity fuels my life and keeps my spirit vibrant. While writing and photography are my first loves, I can’t resist diving into other artistic adventures — whether it’s shaping clay, layering paint and collage, experimenting with digital art, or blending techniques in mixed media. For me, creating is as essential. I believe that as long as we keep exploring, playing, and making, we never truly grow old. Staying young at heart? That’s the plan—and I’m sticking to it.
